Year Book final outcome

For creative sketchbook the aim was to create a yearbook from one year which questioned what a book is. My final outcome is based on the year 1980. The picture shows the back of the skirt which is based on a 1980 design with my interpretation on Vivienne Westwood's pirate collection pattern. The skirt is made from Calico. I have also used pac man as decoration as it was created in 1980 and painted on with acrylic paint. To resemble a book i used image maker to paste headlines onto the skirt. On the front of the skirt is a pocket which holds a home made book with the process of how the book is made in it, which is also to resemble the idea of the book.
